Salary survey 2019.

Survey results show that private sector employees in CI roles earn 10% more than their public sector counterparts.

The results of our salary survey 2019 show that the average public sector salary for project team members with between 1 and 3 years’ experience, ranges between £15 - £20k. Project managers and team members who have worked for the public sector for between 3 and 5 years , and are not an ICIPS professional member, earn between £40 and £55k. Public sector team leaders and CI practitioners who are ICiPS professional members earn between £51 and £70k. These salaries do not include London weighting. Private sector respondents, working as CI practitioners, earned on average 10% more than their public sector counterparts.
