On 26th February, 160 CI practitioners met at York Racecourse for the Institute for Continuous Improvement in Public Services annual conference an awards ceremony.
Lord Haskins thought provoking keynote speech explored accountability, proportionality, consistency, transparency and transferability and the impact that one has on another. Other speakers included Professor Zoe Radnor and Chris Daykin from the RNLI.Presentations are now on line use the keynote search 'conference2015'
Award winners included: FERA, Kent Police and Essex Police, Colwyn Bay Health precinct and Dr Sanjay Bhasin.
CEO Debbie Simpson said ‘I am delighted that the conference was so well received, we have received an overwhelming number of thanks from the delegates. The awards were also a great success with a large number of entries and the standard is testament to the huge efforts these organisations are making to improve public service delivery.’
The conference marks the start of continuous improvement week; a week where organisations across the country undertake work based activities to improve employees understanding of continuous improvement and the role they play.
