Job Description:

Valuation Office AGENCY is committed to driving performance improvement by implementing, embedding and sustaining a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI). VOA CI is a structured approach, helping us develop our leadership and management capability to continuously improve the performance of our processes. CI will better enable:
- Managers and Leaders to be engaged in driving productivity improvements and committed to achieving team level targets.
- Teams to use problem-solving tools systematically to understand and correct performance problems.
- People to be fully engaged in working to agreed standards and understand the need to improve processes.
The Continuous Improvement Analyst will engage with managers and their teams to support Continuous Improvement (CI) implementation. Working with senior CI analysts, they will support the introduction of CI and visual management to inspire performance improvement through problem solving and innovation.

The Practitioner role has three key parts:
• Coach, train and work with teams, advocates and leaders to implement CI
• Build capability in the business to enable embedding and sustainment to inspire continuous improvement
• Influence and coach the business to analyse and understand team performance using evidence based methods.

This role will involve extensive travel, including overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised with good attention to detail and able to work independently. They will be able to demonstrate flexibility in delivering assigned tasks and have the interpersonal skills to engage effectively with team members and managers of all grades. Analytical, problem solving and presentational skills are essential.

Prior experience of CI or Change delivery would be an advantage but full training will be provided. This may involve attendance on a residential course.
Responsibilities include:

• Support Senior CI Analysts during CI delivery to ensure implementations are delivered on time and are suited to deliver the required benefits.
• Coach managers and team members to make proper use of visual management to challenge performance and continuously improve results against Key Performance Indicators.
• Coach Leaders to ensure they effectively demonstrate CI Management behaviours.
• Coach managers to use CI (workplace) Assessment to build a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support leaders following CI Maturity Model assessments to develop and implement action plans to improve maturity scores and any concerns.
• Coach managers in building, understanding, measuring and improving appropriate customer focussed measures
