The opportunity
As a Continuous Improvement Practitioner, you will take an active role in the delivery of projects. Working collaboratively within the Organisation Development & People function, you will lead on Lean Six Sigma projects and other business improvement initiatives across the organisation. As a consultant, you will analyse and be able to define what is needed in each situation, help to embed changes within the organisation, and offer advice and guidance to ensure these changes are sustained. Nurturing relationships with other teams and external partners, you will drive and embed a continuous improvement culture across the Council, maximising effectiveness and improving customer experience.
Knowledge, skills and experience
About you
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, you will be a Lean Six Sigma practitioner certified to Green Belt level with strong experience in delivering projects in challenging environments. With an analytical mindset, you will be comfortable managing a demanding and diverse workload. You will have a keen understanding of a variety of change management tools and techniques and keep up-to-date with current technologies. If you come from a change management background this would also be beneficial.
