The University Services Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement Manager leads a team of approximately 5 people and is responsible for tracking, managing and leading initiatives to drive excellence, efficiencies and cost reduction. The position will have overall responsibility for a business analysis / process improvement team within University Services, identifies business needs and leads the effort to build requirements and translate requirements into a well-documented product, service or process that supports and drives the business. This position is required to possess an "expert-level" breadth and depth of knowledge that not only includes business and technology concepts and processes, but also includes knowledge and experience in implementing change management and organizational change initiatives affecting policy, process and/or people. In this role the Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement Manager serves as a senior manager in the Finance & Systems organization, directs significant programs and operates with a high degree of autonomy. This position requires a creative leader, strong manager, and tireless advocate for continuous improvement. The position reports to the Assistant Vice President for University Services Finance & Systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in a field related to this position plus 8 years of progressively more responsible professional experience in a relevant area.
Experience in leading and developing industry recognized business/system analysis methods, approaches and techniques
Experience in developing and implementing business application solutions and leading change management initiatives
Experience and advanced understanding of large scale, complex project management and system development life cycles
